" I had the pleasure of buying a 2007 V Star Tourer.I found the bike on your website and filled out your e-mail credit app. That was late Saturday.I received a call from your friendly finance lady who got me the financing for the bike I wanted.On Tues. 3-18-07 My oldest son his wife and my wife along with my 2nd oldest son visited Mike Ham at your dealership.Mike was very friendly not pushy and knew his stuff about the bikes he was showing us.Well it turns out my oldest son and me both bought a bike from Mike that night(my 2nd oldest son has a bike already. "Just got back from a Canadian snowmobile trip with 1200 miles in 6 days. My 2004 Ski Doo had over 5,000 miles on it and I was nervous taking it on a long trip.I talked to Ron and Frank in your service dept.and they suggested a top end overhaul,drive shaft bearings and jackshaft bearings.I like the old sled so I took their advice and had them do the work.I got the sled back in just a few days,took it to Canada,rode it for 1200 miles and all I did was put oil and gas in it. Thanks for the great service and the trouble free vacation."

"I bought a 2002 mxz800 sled with electric start used. I had a problem with the starter motor. After calling the local dealer and others all I heard was $350 for a new starter some even said, "That unit did not come with electric start." I went on the the internet, I called some dealers, they seemed like I was wasting their time. Then I called Nielsen's. Ralph answered the phone, he told me about $325, then he asked is there a local rebuilder in your town. I did not know, he said check, they might be able to rebuild it. I took it to my local garage, he pointed me to a rebuilder. I got my starter fixed for $78.67. I called Nielsen's back, This time I asked for Ralph, he was off that day. I called back and thanked him for the advice! Then I told him about the run around I had from other dealers, then he told me that the electric starter was a dealer installed kit. Today I recieved complete part and instructions for my kit. He took my address and mailed them to me. He added a note that you ship all over the world and everyone from parts to service and sales at Nielsen's. Would have done the same."

" In January of this year, I purchased a 2007 SeaDoo Supercharged Wake Edition at the Chicago Boat & RV show after speaking with Jeff Nielsen. I explained my reluctance to purchase the boat from a dealer 75 miles from my home should a service issue develop afer the sale. Jeff assured me that with prior notice, Nielsen's would arrange for "same day service", whenever possible, to avoid multiple return trips to the dealership. March of 2007 I picked up the Wake and was very pleased with how I was treated by all members of the Nielsen staff at every step of the delivery process. In June of 2007 the boat required service to correct a mechanical malfunction covered under warranty. True to his word, when I made the appointment for a Saturday morning, I told the service department I needed "save day service". Three hours after my arrival I was on my way with a repaired boat, extra accessories from their well-stocked parts department, and a greater appreciation for the extended service warranty Jeff had suggested in January; should another unforseen repair problem develop. I now have 35+ hours on the Wake, it runs great, pulls skiers with lots of low-end power and tops out stock at 70 mph. I've told other's of my experience and wanted to share this with new buyers through this posting at their website. "

"I just wanted to let the store owner and/or store manager know how pleased I was with the treatment I received from Jerry Coia recently. I spoke to him about possibly trading in my bike for a new CBR600RR, and he gladly let me take one out for a test ride. I now know that I really like that bike, and if I purchase it, it will be with your dealership and with Jerry. Unfortunately, the value for my trade was hurt by some cosmetic damage on it, so I need to try and repair and sell it on my own beforehand. Regardless, I was very pleased with Jerry's treatment and trust (as I was with a previous bike purchase with him) and just wanted to let his supervisors know what a great job he and your dealership are doing. "We were on a 3,000 mile trip with our Goldwing trike and they took our bike in to repair the front end. We still had 2,000 miles to go yet. The trike ran great for us the rest of the trip. "What Nielsen's did for my wife and I recently is unbelievable. We bought our 2nd Sea Doo jet boat the spring of '07 from a dealer in another state when Nielsen's had an 8 week backlog on the model we wanted. But when our new Sea Doo jet boat encountered repeated intermittent electrical problems over a year period, your service department did everything it could possibly do to fix the problem. When thier efforts failed your dealership spoke to the manufacturer and helped us get into a brand new upgraded model of the same boat. "I have been dealing with Nielsens for years. I have bought six bikes with accessories and clothing over the past years. I am 48 now and my first bike when I was only 12. I have lived in Chicago area all my life. I will check the dealers in my town to see what I want, and when its time for business I call Ted and let him know what I want and I get the best deal every time. Nielsens is the best. It takes me 1.5 hours to drive to the place but that doesn't bother me at all because I get excelent service and everyone is very polite and courtius and friendly. There is no other place that I will go for a bike or parts or work than Nielsens. "I just bought a 2007 Yamaha R6 (the first one you guys sold) everyone was very helpfull and kind. They gave me the best price around. I also bought a helmet with my bike, Sara in the accessories department was very helpfull, kind and beautiful. She gave me good advice on the carbon-fiber helmet. "Dear Tim, I have owned snowmobiles for over 20 years now and had numerous repairs done by various shops as well as many of those repairs done by me. This past visit to Nielsen has been the best I have ever encountered by any shop and the best "Experience" I have had by a service organization. My current sled (2005 Ski-Doo Mach Z) has been in to be fixed before and done so with experience that has been mediocre to say the best, however this last time it was a great experience. It was so because of you! You took the time to read what my issues where and apply your knowledge and expertise in a way that can only be described as "Professional". You took the time to treat my sled as yours, to call me and in detail explain what should be done. You took the time to even call me back after our phone conversation was disconnected by my mediocre cell service. You should know that in any organization people make the difference and in this case you made the difference. It is my hope that Ted and Jeff Nielsen as well as Ron Gerstenberger fully understand whom they have working for them and that your service is greatly appreciated. The unfortunate Situation for you is that I will from now on request you. Unfortunate I say as when you are good, you typically get more of the load. "Mike Fouke was very profesional, friendly, & patient. He knew going into the sale, I wasn't going to purchase a bike that day. This didn't affect the qaulity of effort on Mike's behalf. I can't say enough good things about him. We spent the better half of 2 hours with him, and didn't feel like any part of the experience was bothersome. Just recently I had the pleasure of dealing with Adam in parts. He was very helpful as well. He guided me through your website to the exploded view diagrams. This reassured me the correct part was bieng ordered. All this for a $4.00 part. Once again, the amount or sale wasn't the issue. The customers satisfaction was the goal. "Dear Jeff.... I know I have said it to you while we have had several conversations during the past year, but I wanted to put it in words that you can reflect on when your feeling down as everyone from time to time does. You can and should take great pride in what you have at NIELSEN'S, and I'll explain where I'm comming from, and because I proberbly have you on age, that holds true on "life expeience" as well. Here it is: It's not the bricks and morter, or the inventory or lines that a business represents and markets to the end user that makes it a success, it's the PEOPLE making the presentations during thier sevice experience, that represent what your business has and CAN do. I'm a customer. Not a friend of yours, we did not know each other when I came to your business with what anyone would agree were extra ordinary circumstances, in that my watercraft, out of warranty and serviced unsuccessfuly by several other dealerships, before and after warranty, continued to have the same several reoccuring problems that no one could remedy and had given up trying.[though had not given up taking my money!] Certainly my machine's issues were at best "challenging", at worst a total mystery. Purchased elswhere, and "inherited" by me I was determined to get it right, without success anywhere else including but not limited to 3 other dealerships, until I found NIELSEN'S. I want to bring to your attention partcularly RON, KEN, and TOM in service. KEN never gave up! RON, his manager, never made me feel like "this customer is taking too much of our time! Patch it and get it out, charge him", instead, it was "TAKE THE TIME YOU NEED TO GET IT RIGHT. This is why we're here!". I never had to negotiate, or "lobby" or get tough. There was no need. Ken and Ron kept at it. Tom kept me informed, always patient. My problems were solved, my watercraft's "ghosts" were "excorcised", and I had my first great summer on the water in the three years I have had this watercraft. The bottom line, Jeff, is that I have no vested interest in writting you other then to let you know what is evedent to me here and now, standing objectivly on the outside looking in. The view, Jeff, is.... GOOD. You have what a business should strive for. You have the......right peaple. "I believe that Nielsen enterprises should get more used atv's in. There is a big market. I personaly am lookng for a 300ex and you guys don't have one. If you got one in. I would most likely buy it. You need to get more mid sized sport machines such as the 400ex, 300ex, warrior etc. Overall your dealership is very good."
